Subject:  Class for those wanting to be licensed Amateur Radio Operators.

DatesOctober 9th through December 4th, 2007.

The Brainerd Area Amateur Radio Club is sponsoring a class to teach beginners the skills and knowledge necessary to pass a test to become FCC (Federal Communications Commission) licensed Technician class Ham Radio Operators.  It is the first step in a life-long hobby that is enjoyed by over 700,000 people in this country and 3 million world wide.  The license allows local and international communication over radio waves.  The class starts on Tuesday, October 9th, and will run for eight weeks with testing on December 4th.  Classes are once a week from 6:30 PM to about 9:00 PM and will be held in the Main Brainerd Fire Station training room.  Anyone interested should call Al Doree WØRC at 218-575-2404 and/or show up at the first class.
