Silent Key......John D. Kotula
John passed away September 14, 1999, at the age of 68. His wife Marcella said he had been suffering for some time with Lou Gehrig's Disease. He was licensed about two years ago after attending a BAARC class. He had traveled all over the world working for the government and had lived abroad for many assignments. Recently many enjoyed reading about his senior activities in the Brainerd Dispatch. The Club members enjoyed some of the humorous e-mail jokes he would relay.
John wrote the original code for the BAARC web site as a class project. This site has been maintained and updated by Mark WØMH since. Of course, John will be sorely missed by his friends in the Club.
