Computer Control of Radios

    Lee Snook W1DN

Lee Snook, W1DN, gave a fascinating presentation at the February 25th club meeting. Lee wrote a computer program to control a ham radio. He wrote it using Microsoft Visual Basic and the program runs in Windows. Lee showed the group how the program is written, how to make changes, and how it interacts with the radio. He did not write the program for sale to the public, but as a training exercise to learn Visual Basic. Lee is a contractor to Hunt Technologies and has written other programs for them.
