Clarence Ritari 1914 - 2000

Clarence Ritari WAØMMV of Verndale, MN passed away from cancer at age 85 on January 16, 2000.  He had been a past member of the Club and was known as a gentle, helpful and kind man. He was a jack-of-all trades, talented in many technical areas.  He is survived by a large, loving family---some are hams. His second wife Virginia would appreciate any expressions of condolences.  Fritz and Judy Bertelt recall their wedding and teased Clarence as being the "Flying Finlander of Verndale" because he was always on the go with Virginia.  In fact, we would guess most of his recent years' hamming was from the mobile.  Needless to say, he will be sorely missed.

Also Ervin H. (Al) Lindemann WAØWEE passed away in January 2000 at a nursing home in Brainerd.  He was a former member of the Club and a retired chemical engineer.  Some of you old timers might remember Fritz bringing him to some club breakfasts when Al's health permitted.  Al was 95 at the time of his death.  He too will be missed as a really nice guy.
