Brainerd Area Amateur Radio Club  

Club Meeting March 27, 2003
The Brainerd Area Amateur Radio Club will held a regular monthly meeting on March 27that the Mississippi Horizons School in Brainerd.

The presenter was Past BAARC President Brian Wermager KØEOU.  Brian talked about building antennas for HF.    
 

Brian has verified contacts with all 335 countries.  He has 346 countries to his credit, which includes many countries that have been deleted from the DX list.  About half of those were made using CW.

Brian explained how all antennas are compared to dipoles.  The best HF antennas are the Log Periodic, Cubical Quads, and vertical loops.
