Brainerd Area Amateur Radio Club  

Club Membership Meeting....June 30, 2005

The June membership meeting of the Brainerd Area Amateur Radio Club was held at Central Lakes College in Brainerd. 
And this is a minimum in the antenna pattern. Brian KØEOU was the evening speaker.  He presented a "Tutorial on Computer Antenna Modeling."  Brian included examples of antennas used by our club members.  He used AO(Antenna Optimizer) software, which includes 3-D looks at antenna radiation patterns.    

The question and answer session lasted way past the normal 9 PM quitting time.  

Brian holds the ARRL #1 Award and knows quite a bit about antennas.  He published an article in the ARRL Antenna Handbook on an antenna he created some years ago.
