CW CQ from WØUJ

Here is a view taken from the top of the tower just above the four element Moseley TA-53M multi-band HF Beam.  The photographer was looking north into Brainerd, Minnesota when taking the shot.  The red buildings are the Brainerd High School.  The sand colored building further north and in the center of the photograph is the Crow Wing County Court House.

Brainerd's famous all concrete water tower is to the right.  It was built in the early 1900's.  Workmen labored 24 hours a day continuously pouring concrete until finished.  It has since been replaced by steel water towers, but remains as a landmark in the center of Brainerd.
