Silent Key....Passed Away November 29, 2003

Ken had been a club member for a long time and was a tireless worker.  For years, he was involved in coordinating community service events for the club.  These include communications for the Jaycees Fishing Derby, the Mid Minnesota 150 Sled Dog Races at Aitkin, the Bataan Death March Recreation,  the Paul Bunyan Bicycle Tour, the Goblin Patrol on Halloween, and others. 

Ken was a retired U.S. Marine Corps Major and is a Past President of this club.  He served as Mayor the city of Baxter and is  the designer of the BAARC logo and arm patch.  It is proudly displayed on the upper left hand corner of this web page and on his jacket in the photo above.  On November 13, 2000, Ken was honored as "Outstanding Senior Citizen" in Brainerd.
