"Ham Tips" Antenna Maintenance Jig |
The photo shows a stand used for working on ham antennas. It was designed and built by Bob WØZPE, the "Friendly Voice of Huntersville." This is a very clever idea that saves bending over to work on an antenna. It is a wooden stand with a vertical pipe. The pipe and wood are joined via a pipe flange. The antenna sits horizontal about 4 feet above the ground. You can use one of these when you are assembling a new antenna or reworking an existing antenna. It is shown in front of one of the garages at the Hungry Horse Ranch. Contact Bob if you wish to borrow it for your project.
