Warning...RF Radiation Jon Crisman, N9BHQ (now WØJEC), of Bemidji gave a presentation on RF exposure and how to predict hazardous locations based on transmitter frequency, power, antenna type, and distance from the antenna. This fascinating talk dealt with OSHA and FCC standards for protecting hams and the public from too much RF radiation. Jon wrote a computer program which predicts the hazard and makes it easy to determine where the hazards are. We thank him for giving his presentation to the Brainerd Area Amateur Radio Club.
