October 31, 1998:  Club President Mark Persons, WØMH, Meets with ARRL Officials.  More details.

October 29, 1998:  Jon Crisman N9BHQ of Bemidji, gave a presentation on RF Radiation Hazards.  More details.

July 30, 1998:  Club members tour Hunt Technologies.  More details.

July 30, 1998:  Fritz, WØKO, receives award for service to the club.  More details.

July 18 and 19, 1998:  BAARC hams handled communications at the First Annual Airshow at Brainerd.  More details.

Field Day June 27-28, 1998:  The Brainerd Area Amateur Radio Club, along with thousands of other clubs coast to coast, participated in this annual event to hone field emergency skills and make contacts.  More details.

June 20, 1998 Antenna Takedown Party:  Club members removed antennas and disassembled a tower donated to the club by Syd Peterson, widow of Skip Peterson(KCØNA-SK).  More details.

June 6, 1998:  BAARC handles communications at Bicycle Tour of the Lakes event.  More details. 

Tour of WWWI Radio transmitter facility May 16, 1998:  Club President Mark, WØMH, gave a presentation at the April 30, 1998 BAARC club meeting about multiple element driven antenna systems.  That was followed two weeks later by a tour of a commercial AM directional antenna system.  More details.
