Memorial Day Parade Aided by BAARC  May 26, 2003

The 2003 Memorial Day Parade went off without a hitch on 26 May. All intersections of the parade route on 3rd Avenue Northeast, in Brainerd, were covered by BAARC hams. There were 13 hams involved in this event.  The parade went off without a hitch and no delays were experienced. 

Involved in this event were the following named hams: Joe Bayliss, N0UME; Gene Bradfield, KØTIW; Katie Bradfield, KBØDKD; Jim Shubert, KCØANQ; John Luce, WØJGY; Steve Weber, WØTNT; Jon Livingston, KBØMNM; Paula Persons, WØHA; Mark Persons, WØMH; Jim Duit, KBØTXT; Sharon Duit, KBØSQX and Ken Magloughlin, KAØJSW, who rode the entire route on a 4 wheeler, keeping track of potential delays and/or traffic problems.

Several members of the Memorial Day Committee commented on the participation of BAARC members and their attention to duty.
