A New Home for the Wadena 147.330+ Repeater November 10, 2006 |

The Wadena repeater was removed from
the Lorentz Farm south of Wadena,
MN, about 6 months ago for refurbishing.
John KØJO negotiated with the
City of Sebeka, MN,
to allow the repeater and antennas to be installed in the city’s new
water tower which is located in downtown
Sebeka. A lot of dedication and hard work by Art NØTNJ, John KØJO,
and Al WØRC over the ensuing
months culminated in the repeater’s installation in the base of the new
water tower. The antennas located 200 feet above average terrain. The repeater (NØWN) and packet node will be in operation officially after testing and fine tuning are completed in a week or so. Thank you gentlemen for your hard work… Bob WØZPE Repeater Trustee. |
