Club Membership Meeting on Thursday, March 27, 2008


The evening presenters were (l-r) John WØWY who showed the recently completed operating protocol sheets for use during bad weather and other emergencies.  John KDØCIZ is the Crow Wing County Emergency Management Director.  He spoke of how amateur radio works into the county emergency plan.  Steve KCØYTE showed a 15-minute Skywarn video from the ARRL.  Finally, Darrel ABØVP told about the club's involvement at the February Mid-Minnesota 150 Sled-Dog Race.  He also gave an overview of the John Beargrease race and the Beargrease Amateur Radio Coalition that helps support it.
