If any BAARC members are
interested in giving their GPS (Global
Positioning System) units a workout, and would like to spend a little
time out-of-doors, I have hidden a few geocaches
on public property so you are not in danger of trespassing.
My GPS unit, as I marked the locations, indicated that
those particular readings should be accurate to within plus or minus 28 feet.
As
of October 27, 2005, here are the latest geocache medallion
locations: |
Fox
1: N 46-21.388, W 94-14.800 |
Look for a
1-inch round aluminum medallion (animal rabies tag) about 1 meter (3-1/2 feet) off the ground at
each location. Look for a Fox 1, Fox 2, etc. on one side of
the tag. Report your finds to me and I will have it
announced in the BAARCer
newsletter. Good Hunting!!!!
